I’ve been some other things.
An actor, curious about why people make the choices they do.
A bookseller, curious about how data can help design a store ecosystem.
A project manager, curious about what processes can be improved by effective collaboration.
As a person, I’m curious and so I love to learn. Curiosity brought me to UX which is about learning.
I’ve learned I’m a holistic UX thinker, who focuses on the end-to-end process of design. I apply my empathy, creativity, and extensive experience with customers to design intuitive products that solve their problems and bring them joy.
So basically: getting in other people’s heads (actor), data analysis (bookseller), organizing processes and procedures so they’re intuitive (project manager), and crafting all of those pieces into an exceptionally designed product (UX Design).
When I’m not working you’ll probably find me cooking, spoiling my dog, or buried in a book.
Let’s talk design, user problems, and what’s next on your reading list.
